Diana Haddad

Diana Joseph Foued Haddad, better known under the name Diana Haddad is a Lebanese artist and singer born in Bsalim –Lebanon, on October 1st, 1976. She also holds an Emirati citizenship. Mainly known as Diana Haddad, she is one of the most successful Arab female artists, and has been so since the 1990’s.

Diana has been a record breaker since her first single ‘Saken ‘released in 1996. She first came to fame when she appeared in the Lebanese TV show ‘Studio Al Fan’ in 1993, singing the folklore song written by Elias Abu Zaala ‘Tyr Elyammameh’. Following her great performance and exceptional appearance, she succeeded in releasing her first album.

In 1997, she released one of most successful albums in her discography. ‘Ahl El Esheg’ was a hit album that included a hit single also entitled ‘Ahl El Esheg’. She also released the most popular pop album of the 1990’s entitled’ Ammanih’. In 2000, she released the most critically acclaimed and successful album ‘Awel Marrah’.

Six years later, she released another successful album ‘Diana 2006’. Diana released her second long awaited Khaliji album ‘Men Diana Illa’ on October 30th, 2008. She was considered as one of the most influential artists in the Middle East by the magazine ‘who?’. Throughout her career, Diana has won so many awards .

In 1996, she won the platinum award for the sales of the album ‘Saken’. In the years 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 she was nominated as the best Arab female singer. In 2003, she won the platinum award for the sales of the album ‘Law Yesaalouni’. In 2010, she was chosen by ‘Hitmaker Magazine’ as one of the best selling artists of all times in the Middle East.
