Gilbert Simon is a Lebanese Franco-Armenian multi-Talented solo artist; he has been in the music business for over 10 years. In the beginning of 2011, Gilbert joined the reality TV show, “Star Academy 8”, in Lebanon.
During his stay in the academy he portrayed a high level of professionalism by performing in many languages and displaying diverse Styles alongside a variety of International artists.
This Multi-Talented Performer: Singer, Guitarist, Pianist, Harmonica Player, Drummer, Percussionist, Producer and Composer won people’s heart quickly and the “Top One” position several times in a row up to the Final Prime of Star Academy.
After the show was over in July of 2011, Gilbert continued developing his Solo Career by working alongside the great Lebanese composer and arranger Michel Fadel to release his debut Single Album “DO YOU LOVE ME?”, a song originally written and released in 1963 by the Great Lebanese musician, René Bendali.
In addition to the album, Gilbert has produced a unique Music Video for his first song, a humorous love story about a guy trying to impress his girl by bringing the entire city to dance for her and entertain her ,the video was directed by the three-time Award Winner, Mexican-American Film Director & Cinematographer, Eric Hinojosa.
