Myriam Shehab, better known under the name Melissa, is a Lebanese singer born in southern Lebanon in 1982. Melissa has experienced a meteoric rise since the beginning of her career.
She is now very popular in the Arab World. Melissa was spotted by leading music producer Jean Saliba, known for launching the career of the famous singer Elissa.
She recorded her first song, "Ya Leil Leil" in 2005, and released her debut album " Baddi Minnak" in 2006, which turned out to be a huge success. She then recorded several singles including "Mfakar Halak Mein".
Many of her songs, including "Leil Ya Leil", "Kam Sana", "Habibi", "Halafnalak", "Mfakar Halak Min" or "Ta3lali 2awam", were shot in music video and aired on major television channels in the Arab world.
Her popularity has grown through her collaboration with renowned artists such as Akon, and Dr Alban. Melissa has been invited to perform by the most prestigious festivals in Lebanon and around the world.
